Okay, there's another series of pictures that I really need to start, if this project is to truly represent the range of images that Daddy compulsively captured. We have lots and lots and lots and lots of pictures of cute Frandsen kids in action. Whether it's T-ball, cross country, soccer, jump-roping, baseball, track, tennis--anyone that says that Frandsens weren't into sports will have years of carefully documented games to contend with :).
i loved coaching my kids. this is so long ago i scarcely remember. it looks like it is at the upper field at FIS. Brigham, Benjamin and Abraham all played there. i didn't get my girls involved in softball. Should i have?
ReplyDeleteI remember that season well. Yup, that's the upper field at FIS. I think this was 2nd grade for me. I don't think I have much of a chance of making contact with that ball!
DeleteI've been able to blame all sorts of physical coordination-related deficiencies on not playing sports as a child--if you'd made me do them, Daddy, I wouldn't have that excuse! I'm glad that you spent money on music lessons and a very expensive instrument for me--and I'm glad that you helped establish long-distance running as a sport for our family.
