What I most like about these pictures is trying to figure out which of the family features have been passed down to the next generation. Anyone see a hint of Miles in Benjamin's face, and a LOT of (my) Jacob in Abraham's face?
Interesting! I always pegged Miles as a Christian sort of baby. Maybe Christian and Benjamin look more alike than I'd thought previously? As for baby Jacob, I'd need to see him in person--any chance you can take a road trip down to WV? :)
Wow! what a handsome clutch of kids! you are all so beautiful. i believe this picture is likely taken in Rocky Mountain National Park. Brigham looks about 8 and Rachel 6. this was probably the time i took the four older kids, including Brigham, on a hike almost the entire day, up a trail to a lake and ice field, including a snowstorm on the way. it was a hard steep hike and you were all great.

I remember that hike! Mama made us cream cheese-and-jam bagels that we ate in a cave when it started snowing :). Great, great adventure.
