Dinnertime!
Wow, look at this awesome highchair that Gabrielle has! Daddy, did you make that? Also, notice those bagels strung up and hanging down behind Gabrielle's head. Is that how bagels used to be stored?
Those bagels were a wall hanging that was displayed in our Harmony Place kitchen for many years. It is one of those iconic images in the deep recesses of my mind that will stay with me forever!
This was a classic Relief Society Homemaking project, right up there with the glass grapes :) Bagels, sprayed with a plastic coating to keep them from getting bugs (although mine eventually did anyway...). The play chair was given to us by a kind benefactor and was well used for years. Kind of wish I still had it! Gabrielle, do you remember those very expensive saddle shoes, designed to help your turned in toes? Such happy memories!
