Mother and Son
This is a little boy who loves his mother. Where was this picture taken, Mama? Also, I love that red sweatshirt--what is the story of it? Who gave it to Jacob?
I am not recognizing the location of this photo. I always thought Jacob looked so smart without his hair - as if his brain were functioning at a much higher level!
Jacob loved being with us. i wish i knew how much pain he must have endured day to day. Wasn't mama beautiful at 35 years of age? look at her beautiful shimmering hair. we were both young when we were in our 30s.
Yes, Grandma Hansen made this sweatshirt for Jacob - it was his favorite article of clothing. He wore it every time we went to the hospital and I still have it in my cedar chest upstairs. You can see it at the reunion if you want. I can't remember where this was either... but I sure wish I had not given that outfit of mine to DI! That's a great sweater! And yes, Daddy and I were so very young back then. This is what I want to look like when I get resurrected :)
I think Grandma made that sweatshirt for Jacob. She made one for me, too, with teddy bears on it.
