We all enjoyed this trip, even though it was a bit hard on Jacob. i remember that we took his drip stand with us with the tube that went up through his nose. it is amazing, Jacob did not put up much of a fuss with all of that. i am sure he knew we were trying to help him, so endured it all. that night, we put in the tube and started the drip, but because the outside air was quite cool, almost cold, the fluid was also quite cold and it was a bit painful for him. But he loved being with us.
I remember this! This is at Mammoth. I have the exact same picture of MY kids in front of the big, gaping pit!
