Well, it was Halloween. I remember the costume, but I don't remember exactly why I chose it. Maybe I had a crush on a girl who liked tie-dye? I'm not sure... I know I wanted to be a hippie, so I used blue painters tape to narrow the knees of my jeans to try to create bell bottoms. Apparently I thought hippies wore yellow sunglasses, too. As for the posture, I was rallying for peace!
