Two Little Stockings
It's funny to look at those two little stockings, knowing how many more would be coming over the years! Mama, when did you make all of those homemade stockings? Did you make them all at once or piece-meal as the babies arrived?
Well, this might just be the most adorable picture ever :) What I wouldn't give to have those little girls back for just one day! I made the stockings piecemeal - these two first, then one more for you, then one for Brigham and then I ran out of that fabric and decided these were too small and made the others bigger :) Then I got lazy and bought the last ones. So we have a hodgepodge, but I sure love those stockings!!
These girls really are so adorable. That blue shiny scarf--what is its story? It's been a family treasure for as long as I can remember. I also love seeing what's on the mantelpiece behind them.
