I have so many fond memories of the LA Zoo. Waiting in line to see the baby panda (that line seemed FOREVER), going through the cool, dim marsupial house, seeing the elephants. I also have a distinct memory of this picture right here. Any other LA Zoo memories out there?
Since when do zoos let you ride the animals?! And without any sort of safety harness or anything! Looks fun!

ReplyDeleteGetting to ride that camel was one of the highlights of my childhood. We got to ride camels and elephants another time, too, when Jacob was sick. Was that also the time we stood in line for hours to see the baby pandas?
