Honest, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave

Did I get the order right? We have quite a few Scouting pictures, but I thought this was one of the best. Brigham, Benjamin, and Abraham, what role did Scouting in the Church play for you?

  1. The scout law:
A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. No honest!

The honest part comes in the scout oath, I suppose, where we pledge to keep ourselves morally straight.

The most important roles scouting played for me was providing leadership opportunities, positive adult role models in addition to my parents, some great camping trips, and a permanent knowledge of how to tie a bowline.
